Nearing The End...

My last winter quarter here at SCAD just wrapped up. Finals packed away, spring break coming in, and I've been absolutely lazy, but it's ok cause I deserve it. There was a sense of bittersweetness in the air last week because I realized I'd no longer be taking classes at Hayman's Hall, the illustration building, and some of my friends are graduating this quarter. "When's the next time I'll see this person?" "Where will I go once I graduate?" those were the questions in my head.
I feel accomplished though, I did what I had to do, have done everything I could to get the most well-rounded college experience, and I think I've achieved that. My good luck streak is still going strong, Friday, I got an email saying I've been accepted into the Art Director's Portfolio Review! All my hard work is really paying off, not only thanks to myself, but all my friends and family that's stuck by my side these last few years.
So, as bittersweet as it is to be entering my final quarter at SCAD soon, it's very exciting! Hopefully I end up somewhere I'll really be able to spread my wings and take off...with affordable housing, preferably.
